Conscious Connection

Mixed Circles

For anyone of any gender/sexual orientation who wants to connect deeply to themselves and others, finding healing & connection in community.

You know there is more…

It is a knowing you have in your bones and a stirring in your soul. You are craving MORE CONNECTION, MORE CONSCIOUSNESS. But instead we often feel isolated, lonely and disconnected - from others and from ourselves.

Our busy lives mean that it can be impossible to find the connection we are craving. The act of gathering with others with open heart and mind is a revolutionary act in a society that likes to keep us busy and apart.

This might just be the connection you’ve been searching for.

Magical, healing, and empowering things happen when people consciously gather. Circles are a powerful place of self understanding and connection.

So what is a Conscious Connection Circle?

The practice of women coming together to sit and share is nothing new – circles have been taking place for thousands of years.

But - you read it! They are usually groups for women. CONSCIOUS CONNECTION CIRCLES are opening up this magic to people who identify as human. Whatever your gender or sexual orientation you are welcome to come and connect AS YOU ARE.

I do run Women’s Circles, which creates a safer space for people with shared lived experiences of being women, but bearing witness to the POWER of these gatherings I wanted to open this up to everyone in an actively inclusive space.

We are experiencing a loneliness crisis.

Our busy lives force us into disconnect. More of us than ever before are working remotely and we often live far away from families and friends.

We are living through a period of heartbreaking, existential turmoil.

Conflicts, climate and health pandemics are causing extreme distress globally, and there is great uncertainty. We live in a time when disruption is the norm and not the exception. It is very challenging to know what to do with these feelings or how to act, at a time where we feel more isolated than ever this can be very painful.

Circle is a space to just be, and feel. To be heard and to listen to others. To share wisdom through our experiences.

It is a relatively simple practice where we sit together in a circle around a central point that honours the seasons, come into our bodies in a guided meditation and then share what is moving you. (Sharing is encouraged but entirely optional). There are opportunities to talk and listen co-creating a safer space to hear and be heard. We don’t offer advice or pass judgement: the point isn’t to problem solve and that can be a relief, especially if you are prone to overthinking about the right thing to say or conditioned to step in and try to ‘fix’ a problem.

This is the community you have been craving. Heart led, open and supportive.

A place to just BE in the fullest expression of you.

Where? And other practicalities…

What to bring -

  • Yourself. Showing up for ourselves is sometimes the hardest thing to do. Particularly when things are hard. But you are here for a reason - and this might be just the thing you have been searching for.

  • Layers - we have a lovely space. Bring layers so that you can put them on/take them off and get as comfortable as possible.

  • An offering for the centre if you feel called to do so. This can be anything - a picture, a leaf, a flower, a stone.

What to wear -

  • Anything you like! Yes, seriously. You can come straight from work or straight from the garden. You can take this as an opportunity to be your fullest, most exuberant self… or you can come having just crawled out of bed. Show up as you are and as you choose, you are welcome here.

When we gather with intention we heal ourselves and support others to do the same.

We are drawn to this because deep in our soul we know that it feels so right to support, and be supported by a community.

In a world where there is so much separation and division, Circle reminds us that we truly are a part of a greater whole - and that we are all in this together.
